About The Club
Bloomfield JRLFC was established in 1981 and participates in the Group 10 rugby league competition, which takes us all over the Central West to centres including Mudgee, Oberon and Bathurst. We have a strong and ever-increasing membership base with 235 children registered with our club in 2010. We have age divisions from the Under 6 age group all the way through to Under 16's. In 2009 our club performed extremely well with our Under 10s & Under 12s winning their grand finals, the Under 10's remaining undefeated all season - a remarkable achievement and a source of great pride for our club. Our 2010 season, to date, is also proving very successful, with many of our teams heading for the finals in September.
The club is managed by a hardworking executive, very committed parents and other members.
Another reason the club is so successful is that it contains a very dedicated and hardworking group of coaches and some very talented players. A record number of Bloomfield players reached representative level this year.
President
- Chair all meetings
- Develop and promote club strategies
- Represent the club in a positive and professional manner
- Develop club and district harmony
- Make final decisions when votes are tied
Vice President Senior
- Assist executive members in the performance of their duties
- Fill in as Chair at club meetings in the Presidents absence
Vice President Junior
- Assist executive members in the performance of their duties
- Fill in as Chair at club meetings in the Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents absence
Secretary
- Responsible for the proper handling of all correspondence and record keeping
- Supervise and assist team management and club members
- Work closely with other executives and club officials in performing their duties
Treasurer
- Assume responsibility for all Financial Management for the club and team finances
- Provide proper record keeping and reporting
- Work closely with other executives and club officials in developing financial security for the club
Registrar
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all players
- Work closely with other executives and club officials in performing their duties
Property Manager
- Maintain inventory of all club property
- Make recommendations as to when equipment requires replacement
- Ensure all property is managed in a professional manner
Public Officer
- Responsible for the completion of necessary returns to the appropriate government department
- Maintain a register of all club members
Publicity Officer
- Liaise with the media to ensure the club is held in a positive perspective in our community
- Ensures all members, players and supporters are aware of what is happening in the club
- Represent the club in a positive and professional manner
Coaches Coordinator
- Make recommendations and implement appropriate training methods and procedures for all club coaches
- Monitor performance of all club coaches
- Assist coaches in achieving the goals of the club
Canteen Manager
- Responsible for ensuring the canteen is appropriately stocked and running efficiently
- Ensure sufficient volunteers are available to ensure customers are served promptly
